About the role
Mater Pharmacy Brookwater currently has an opportunity for a Community Pharmacy Store Coordinator to join our Community Pharmacy team. This position is offered on a full time, 12 month fixed term basis.
Mater Pharmacy is dedicated to the exceptional care and service of all of our customers. We provide comprehensive pharmacy services and strive to maintain the highest level of professionalism in all our services.
At Mater Pharmacy – Brookwater we offer a traditional community pharmacy service and we also provide services to several aged care facilities from this site, in addition the pharmacy has a large cosmetic and gift customer base.
Salary range: $61 160 - $67 067 (Operational Officer Level 4) per annum plus superannuation
What you’ll be doing
In this role you will be coordinating the provision of services within Community Pharmacy team to support our pharmacists and customers. Some of your responsibilities would be:
- The smooth running of the pharmacy
- Customer satisfaction
- Management of the team
- Be willing and able to be hands on the shop floor
- Monitoring and maintenance of stock data and levels
- Stock control duties
- Display and lay out of products
- Point of sale and customer service
- Liaise with internal staff and suppliers
To be considered in this role you must have:
Certificate III in Hospital/Community Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Previous retail pharmacy experience
- Previous management experience
- Experience in managing a team
- Experience in inventory management
- Previous buying experience
- Demonstrable customer service skills
- Knowledge, expertise and skill as a pharmacy technician
You will also have a professional attitude, effective communication skills and a high level of attention to detail as well as being professional, hardworking and willing to work cooperatively and effectively with all team members.
