About the role
Mater Education has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator - Quality and Compliance to join the team in a permanent full time capacity and based at the South Brisbane campus. Mater Education, in collaboration with Mater Research, provides education and learning and development support to Mater Health.
Mater Education is a nationally accredited, independent, hospital-based Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that offers a range of courses targeted to provide outstanding educational solutions to an internal and external clientele.
Salary range: commensurate with experience
What you’ll be doing
The role of the Coordinator, Quality and Compliance is to ensure the quality and compliance processes and reporting obligations of the RTO are efficient, effective and compliant. This integral position has shared accountability for meeting regulatory and legislative requirements as they relate to Mater Education’s responsibilities as an RTO, VET Provider and Pre-Qualified Supplier.
You will lead efforts to maintain a quality management system, ensure compliance, promote and participate in continuous improvement activities and your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Validation of AVETMISS data
- Reporting on student loan and funding data
- Assisting the Head of Department with ongoing support and compliance
- Maintain student records, systems and reporting
As the Coordinator Quality and Compliance will have in-depth knowledge and experience working with VET Student Loans and State Government funding in an RTO.
You will have proven strong administration, organisational, prioritising and time management skills as well as excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to advise and liaise across all levels both internally and externally.
