Mater Education has an exciting opportunity for a Public Program Coordinator to join one of Australia’s leading healthcare education providers.

Working as a member of Mater’s Education team, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling and co-ordination of a portfolio of programs offered to the public. You will work directly with the program owners to create annual program schedules to maximise program exposure and facility utilisation.
Salary: $38.87-$42.83 (Mater Corporate and Administration) per hour plus superannuation
What you’ll be doing
Working as part of a team you will lead the planning of our forward schedule of programs. You will be driven by quantitative and qualitative data in your approach and work with marketing and program owners to make effective use of our facilities.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders and it is expected that the boundaries of the role will change to meet changing organisational needs.
Experience in project planning, problem solving, and awareness of marketing lead times will allow you to deliver significant benefits to the organisation. To be considered for this role, you will meet the following criteria:
- Experience in scheduling with a strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Experience working within an RTO environment
- Proficient in use of Student/Learning Management Systems and external reporting systems
- Strong customer service focus approach to work and clients
- Well-developed communication skills – written and verbal
Desirable that you hold a current:
- Diploma or degree in business / commerce / marketing
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
