About the role
Mater’s Development and Property department currently has an exceptional opportunity for a Finance Officer – Property to join the team. This opportunity is offered as permanent and full time. This role will be based at Mater Newstead.
In this position you will working within a highly dynamic and supportive team that manages a property portfolio more than $1 billion across Queensland.
Salary range: $38.87-$42.83 (Mater Corporate and Admin level 4) per hour plus superannuation
What you’ll be doing
The purpose of this position is to manage all financial processes and procedures within Mater Property in relation to operating budgets to maximise the revenue and financial performance of the property portfolio. The role may include: monthly reporting, Invoicing, accounts services, monthly contract invoicing, monthly concession billing, recoverable invoices, annual rental reviews, budgeting, and management of the property management system. You will achieve this with oversight of:
- Financial Management
- Property Database, Lease Administration and Cost Recovery
- Joint Venture Management
- Body Corporate Management

You will ideally have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and ideally formal qualifications in finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, Progen and D365 is desirable.
