About the role
Mater Private Hospital Townsville are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Housekeeping team for the evening shift from 6PM to 2:30AM. As a Night Cleaner/Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital facilities during these late hours. The successful applicants will secure Casual employment with an average of 20 hours a week available.
Salary range: $31.24 - $33.68 per hour plus superannuation plus Casual Loading and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doing
The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for efficiently undertaking daily cleaning, housekeeping, and linen requirements of the hospital in line with work health and safety standards. The Housekeeping Assistant is required to work at the Pimlico Campus, Hyde Park Campus and all annexes of the hospital, including hospital accommodation units.
About you
To be considered suitable for our Housekeeping position you will have:
- Awareness of the importance of hygiene in all aspects of cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Availability to work night shifts
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting ( desirable)
- Demonstrated commitment to the provision of quality customer service
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
