About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly organised professional to join our Philanthropy team on a 14-month maternity leave contract.
As Philanthropy Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our team of Senior Managers to deliver strategic priorities and campaigns across Major Gifts, Gifts in Wills, and Trusts and Foundations, while also contributing to the success of one of our most iconic fundraising events, the Channel Nine Mater Little Miracles Telethon.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide vital administrative and event support to the broader Philanthropy portfolio, ensuring efficiency and excellence in the delivery of day-to-day operations. Your contribution will help empower our Philanthropy Specialists to focus on cultivating and stewarding high value relationships that drive lasting community impact.
In this diverse and rewarding role, you will provide support to other activities across our organisation assisting with the coordination of project logistics.

About you
To be considered for this role you should have:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in administration, events, or marketing.
- Strong administration skills to support various tasks associated with the position.
- Demonstrated experience in event production and logistics, including coordinating suppliers and run sheets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems to maintain accurate supporter records.
- Understanding of relationship development principles in a fundraising context.
- Excellent writing skills for communication with supporters and event briefs.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Reliable and able to respond quickly to requests for information.
- Proficient in contemporary computer programs and fundraising CRM systems.
