Salary range: $39.86 - $58.59 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As a Physiotherapist at Mater, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a variety of clinical settings. You will deliver evidence-based interventions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes across the lifespan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients across a range of clinical presentations.
- Provide safe, evidence-based care in line with professional, departmental, and organisational standards.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions and support patient-centred care planning.
- Participate in quality and service improvement initiatives, translating research and evidence into practice.
- Supervise, mentor, and support students, junior staff, and allied health assistants.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service evaluation and reporting.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
About you
You are a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist with a commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-focused care in a collaborative team environment. You are keen to contribute to service improvement, professional learning, and a positive workplace culture.
You will bring:
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration
- Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
- Clinical expertise in physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and support patient care planning
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement
Desirable:
- Experience in acute or hospital-based physiotherapy
- Additional postgraduate qualifications in leadership, education, or specialty areas
