About the role

Mater Private Central Nursing Office have multiple permanent part time positions available for enthusiastic Enrolled Nurses to provide roster relief. These roles will be based at our South Brisbane campus. This is an excellent opportunity for EN’s to be exposed to different areas within our private hospital and gain valuable experience. 

Salary range: $37.93 - $40.34 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  +access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

Whilst displaying the highest level of clinical standards for the unit you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
  • Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
  • Working with and supporting colleagues within a highly effective skilled team environment
  • Demonstrating clinical skills and knowledge in the care of both medical and surgical patients

About you

  • Current AHPRA registration (without restriction)
  • Minimum 12 months post graduate nursing/midwifery experience
  • Flexibility to perform in various wards, adaptability to seamlessly integrate in to different teams and work under different NUMs
  • Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
  • Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
