About the role

Mater Education currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Coaching and Development Facilitator to join the team on a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract (with the possibility of extension).

This role will enable you to build your facilitation expertise, exercise your coaching capability and grow Mater Leaders. This is an important role within Mater Education, reporting to the Coaching and Development Program Lead, which partners with Mater Education teams and the broader organisation at individual, team and management levels.

Overview of Mater Education

Mater Education, in collaboration with Mater Research, provides education and learning and development support to Mater Health. Mater Education is a nationally accredited, independent, hospital-based Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that offers a range of courses targeted to provide outstanding educational solutions to an internal and external clientele.

What you’ll be doing

As a Coaching and Development Facilitator, your main objective will be to plan, support and deliver structured learning and development programs, as well as specific cultural and change initiatives aligned to the Mater strategy.

About you

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • Passion for developing others
  • Facilitation skills (as opposed to a traditional teaching approach)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Business/Management qualifications
  • Coaching Qualification/s
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
