About the role

Mater Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is currently looking to source a dynamic,agile and highly experienced Change Manager for our Inpatient Engagement Platform project. This is an exciting initiative for Mater and represents an opportunity to join a leader in the Healthcare industry and one led by strong values. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role will be offered in a full time capacity for 12 months and based at our South Brisbane campus.

As the Change Manager you will have responsibility to support successful and efficient organisational change for the Inpatient Engagement Platform project. The Inpatient Engagement Platform project represents a new software solution and hardware platform which will have organisation wide impact and is of significant scope and complexity.

Salary range: Commensurate with experience

What you’ll be doing

The Change Manager will work to maximise adoption and minimise resistance to support benefits realisation, return on investment and the achievement of project outcomes. This role will coach and mentor leaders and will work with Mater teams to create conditions for a smooth and efficient transition and adoption of the changes. The role will be accountable for leading the team responsible for the training program, clinical deployment and internal/external communication.

Some key duties will include:

  • Develop and manage  the change management approach and plan, and supporting collateral material, for the efficient and timely transition to the Inpatient Engagement system
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor the change progress
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Change Manager to ensure a consistent approach to organisational change, and share and understand the impact across all change activities and what they achieve
  • Manage the change, communication and training  resources to drive the effective delivery of the change plan (two direct reports, with a third seconded report who will maintain existing reporting lines)
  • Partner with project stakeholders to develop, manage and  facilitate the design and execution of change management activities including impact assessments, business readiness activities, implementation support and transition / closure activities
  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities into project plans

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • University and/or equivalent professional qualification, particularly Health or Business is desirable
  • Formal change management training such as PROSCI or Certificate in Change Management
  • Demonstrated success working in a similar role within a Hospital environment
