Physiotherapist 

Mater Private Hospital Redland’s Allied Health Team are seeking a dynamic Physiotherapist with a passion to assist patients to return to their optimal level of functioning. This casual position is predominantly to cover regular weekends and leave cover (Mon-Fri) as required. This role is available for an immediate start.

Building on Mater’s reputation for clinical excellence, Mater Private Hospital Redland provides a range of specialised maternity, surgical, rehabilitation and medical services to support the needs of the local community. The hospital features a three-level main hospital building incorporating 60 inpatient beds, 3 operating theatres, birth suites and access to a wide range of clinical services. 

Salary range: $37.13-$54.43 (HP3) per hour plus superannuation and NFP salary packaging up to $15,900

What you’ll be doing 

In this role you will work mainly with patients requiring acute physiotherapy interventions for orthopaedic, general surgical, neurological and medical conditions. This includes acute inpatient, inpatient rehabilitation and day therapy patients.  

As a Physiotherapist you will be experienced in providing exceptional service to adult patients and contributing to a multidisciplinary team, managing caseloads, measuring outcomes and dedication to continuous improvement will be boosted by your strong understanding of the requirements for contributing to a safe workplace in an acute inpatient and rehabilitation environment.  

About you 

You will be a strong and confident communicator, communicating effectively with patients, families and professional colleagues at all times. 

The successful applicant will possess: 

• At least one-year post registration experience in an acute hospital setting (preferred) but new graduates are also welcomed to apply.
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist, 
• Demonstrated ability to provide physiotherapy clinical services, 
• Knowledge, expertise and skill within acute Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, 
• A current Queensland Driver’s License.
