About the role

Mater’s Finance and Operations Systems team have an exciting position for an experienced Lead Trainer – Finance and Operations Systems.  This is a permanent full-time position based in our purpose-built offices in Newstead.

This is a pivotal role where you will be overseeing and defining training activities of the finance and operations systems across the Mater Group to ensure that the staff have proficient skills and knowledge to effectively achieve business objectives and meet deliverables.

Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing
Reporting directly to the Manager, Finance and Operations Systems, your primary responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to):

  • Conduct training activities on all finance and operations systems
  • Accountable for training around the finance and operations systems to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees
  • Establish and maintain a well-defined set of tasks and training activities
  • Custodian for the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations user manuals
  • Relay impacts of latest Microsoft product feature releases on current business processes
  • Documenting, testing and updating the manuals in line with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations system feature releases and best practices
  • Identify and manage inefficiencies during the implementation procedure and provide solutions to those challenges
  • Undertake other activities as requested
  • Any other tasks as requested

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • University degree in Accounting and /or Information Systems
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations certification
  • Extensive proven experience in Financial Systems
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant systems / ERP
  • Strong general knowledge of accounting activities related to project and general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, project accounting, asset management and procurement and supply chain
  • Proven experience in D365 Finance and Operations or AX/Business Central similar
  • Proven ability to gather, model and document business and functional requirements
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple stakeholders and projects to meet deadlines and produce high quality work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail of laws and regulations regarding document management
  • Exposure to large complex businesses / organisations

Highly regarded

  • ITIL certification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Pursuing professional designation
  • Experience in banking and payment applications
  • Experience within the health sector
