About the role

Mater’s Digital Technology and Information team has a unique opportunity for a Project Manager to join us on a 12-month maximum term contract. Reporting to the Program Manager and located at our corporate office at Newstead you will be integral to the applications roll out for our Springfield Stage 2 Project.

Salary range: $114,746 - $122,915 (MCA6) per annum plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

• Overall responsibility for managing the successful delivery of all work packages in the scope of specific project/s
• Design and develop scope of the work to be delivered
• Drive a fit for purpose change management strategy and be accountable for leadership of change management activities
• Provide advice to the Steering Committee on all aspects of the project
• Manage and monitor the project using Mater project management methodologies and processes
• Promote the project goals, manage communications within the existing Mater Springfield Governance model and quickly establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Manage escalated risks in collaboration with the project sponsors to within agreed tolerances, escalate and report any project risks in a timely manner
• Actively partner with consumers, as well as interprofessional colleagues, to determine service and operational objectives that provide an exceptional experience and outcomes, every time
• Actively manage project budget and resource assets to deliver strong financial performance
• Contribute to strategic decision-making and identify strategic and operational opportunities for improved financial outcomes
• Lead and engage project team members assisting with the project delivery

About you

• Project management experience
• Change management experience
• Certificate or Diploma in Project Management; and/or
• Prince2 Certification
• Strong negotiation and influential skills
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment
