Mater Hospital Mackay is currently inviting expressions of interest from Registered Midwives who are interested in relocating or undertaking a temporary relocation. We have both short-term and long-term contracts available.

Salary range: $39.61 - $53.30 (RN1) per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
About the role
This opportunity will suit Mater Midwives and Nurses with experience working across the maternity continuum including birth suite, antepartum, postpartum, and special care nursery services.
- Contracts range from 2 months up to 1 year
- Free accommodation in a fully furnished unit or house
- $100 per day regional allowance for everyday worked
- Reimbursement of costs to relocate/travel to Mackay
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Recent nursing experience including extensive experience within a maternity/women’s health ward setting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles
