Mater Mother’s Hospital is excited to be offering a talented Obstetrician and Gynaecologist an opportunity to be part of our services across South Brisbane and Springfield on a Part-Time basis for 12 months.

Salary: per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
We are specifically looking for a specialist candidate who is interested in providing care to both public obstetric and gynaecology patients and privately funded women having maternity care provided through Mater’s own low risk private maternity care model. While working in this temporary role as a relieving junior consultant, the successful candidate will be supported through the transition to beginning private practice at Mater.
Importantly the successful candidate who works collaboratively with medical, midwifery, allied health, and non-clinician colleagues to help us deliver consistent, evidence-based, high-value healthcare. Mater Specialists are actively involved in teaching residents and registrars and measuring and improving healthcare service delivery through activities such as inter-disciplinary education, team-based and technical simulation, clinical audit, safety and quality activities and research.
Mater is synonymous with exceptional women’s healthcare in Queensland, and recognised internationally in the areas of clinical care, research, education and simulation. - FRANZCOG (or equivalent)
