Mater Mothers' Hospitals currently have an exceptional opportunity available for a Credentialed Diabetes Educator for 64 hours per fortnight for 12 months Maternity leave cover (with the possibility of extension) commencing 27th January 2025 through to 25 January 2026.

Providing exceptional care and support for women and their families, we offer integrated services covering obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, and maternal foetal medicine.
Salary range: $59.87 - $61.67 (RN Level 3.1) per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative CDE with exceptional leadership and communication skills to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team providing care for women with diabetes in pregnancy. The successful applicant will have a clear understanding of evidence-based practice and care of women with diabetes through pregnancy and postnatal periods.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
• Tertiary qualifications in Diabetes Education
• Current credentialing with Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA)
• High level organisational skills and the ability to work as a multi-functional team member
• Strong clinical leadership and management skills
• Competence with education and support for women with diabetes
