About the role

Join Mater as a Senior Advisor - Content Production in this permanent full-time opportunity based at our Newstead corporate office.

As the Senior Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in creating high-quality digital content, ranging from videography to editing, animation, and graphics. Reporting to the Manager - Content Production, you'll collaborate closely with the talented team of graphic designers and the Corporate Affairs department. Salary range: $121,359 - $129,997 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

Protect and enhance the Mater brand through proactive storytelling, media engagement, and effective issues management. The duties will include:

  • Produce high-quality videography by planning, filming, and directing video shoots for campaigns
  • Edit and finalise video content to meet campaign objectives
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Affairs department and other creatives to ensure cohesive content creation
  • Manage digital content activities and ensure timely delivery
  • Develop and implement content strategies aligned with campaign goals and brand guidelines
  • Maintain content quality and consistency across platforms
  • Stay updated with industry trends in digital content production
  • Provide training and mentorship to foster a skilled content production team

About you

The ideal candidate will have formal qualifications and/or relevant experience in content production, including videography, editing, animation, and graphic design producing high-quality digital content. You will also have:

  • Proficiency in Davinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) to create and edit visual content effectively
  • Strong understanding of digital asset application on social media and digital platforms to maximise engagement and reach
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail to produce visually appealing and impactful content
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey ideas clearly and collaborate effectively
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines to manage dynamic work environments and project requirements
  • Self-motivated with proven problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges and deliver solutions independently
