Mater Foundation are looking for a Head of Digital Marketing – Lotteries to join the team! This permanent, full-time role will be based at our Newstead campus.

What you’ll be doing

The Head of Digital Marketing – Lotteries leads Digital Marketing within the Lotteries Team. The position is responsible for leading the active development and implementation of a holistic digital marketing strategy across paid, earned, and owned channels, that drives revenue, new supporter acquisition and awareness. 

The Head of Digital Marketing also manages Digital Risk, partnerships and affiliate relationships and assists Mater Foundation in achieving its overall objectives by increasing positive awareness, supporter numbers and revenue. You will achieve this by:

  • Leading the development and execution of the Digital Marketing strategy to support the achievement of business targets & KPIs.
  • Ensuring all digital initiatives are aligned to the digital marketing strategy and reaching KPIs set, providing agreed ROI and continually optimising the digital approach.
  • Developing and maintaining effective and productive communication and working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

About you

You will have tertiary qualification in marketing, media and or a related discipline and 7+ years relevant digital marketing experience. You will also have 3-5 years leading a digital marketing team.

  • Track record in leading and developing a high performing team to deliver on business objectives with a clear vision and digital first approach
  • Hands on experience with digital marketing, SEO, PPC, social media advertising, UX, CX, database segmentation and content creation
  • Strong knowledge of the latest digital marketing technology and trends, competitor insight and industry developments
  • Extensive experience in managing large digital marketing budgets and driving profitable revenue growth
  • Experienced in briefing and working with external marketing agencies to deliver components of the digital marketing strategy
  • Strong understanding of inbound and outbound digital marketing, and customer journey mapping.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to analyse data, trends and performance on key metrics and ROI from digital marketing, to drive advancements and optimisation.
  • Broad understanding of CMS driven e-commerce, UX and online design.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage parallel projects simultaneously with un-prompted follow-through and initiative.
  • A thorough understanding of marketing principles and practice
  • A deep understanding of supporter centric marketing
  • An understanding of technology and operational best practice techniques
  • A background in creative agencies and design
  • A background and qualifications in Philanthropy would be highly valued
  • A knowledge of lottery gaming and advertising laws
  • Experience in managing multi-faceted digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in building, fostering and nurturing relationships with internal, cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
