Mater is looking for a Senior Transformation Business Partner to join the team. Reporting to the Senior Director Transformation and Advisory, this role is based at our Newstead offices.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
The Senior Transformation Business Partner is a critical role in Transformation. The role is responsible for leading the delivery and implementation of high-value transformation initiatives, while working collaboratively with clinicians and leaders to build capability and capacity.
These initiatives deliver transformational change in the way that Mater delivers patient outcomes, financial stewardship, operating effectiveness, and employee experience in a sustainable manner. This work will have Mater-wide impact and enable changes in service delivery and ways of working. This role is instrumental in cultivating positive stakeholder relationships, managing expectations, maintaining service levels, and ensuring robust project governance and controls for the effective delivery of outcomes.
About you
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in business administration, project management and risk or demonstrated equivalent experience or relevant tertiary qualifications in healthcare with proven experience or education/training in project management. You will also meet the below criteria:
- Extensive experience leading and managing transformation projects in large and complex organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to draw on experience and knowledge to develop complex strategies to build buy-in and support from key stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders, prioritise and deliver against deadlines in an agile/design thinking environment.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare sector, challenges and opportunities with previous experiences working alongside clinicians to deliver transformative change.
- Excellent organisational skills and a demonstrated capacity to work independently within established guidelines, using sound judgement.
- Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in various applications, including Office 365 applications, PowerBI or similar tools.
- Proven capability in developing professional relationships with stakeholders, serving as a credible advisor, and influencing at all staffing levels.
- Extensive knowledge and skills in stakeholder management, change management planning, governance, strategy, engagement, business impact analysis, business readiness, and reinforcement and embedding.
- Significant experience in providing strategic advice, exceptional client service and senior executive support in the context of a large, complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to apply sound business acumen to corporate governance during project execution and performance monitoring.
- Adept at leading and achieving results in fast-paced environments with evolving demands.
- Formulate potential courses of action to achieve objectives based on an in-depth understanding of the health sector and its systems.
- Establish an integrated perspective of health service delivery and identify the leverage points where intervention and change will add value.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Demonstrated ability to draw on experience and knowledge to develop complex strategies to build buy-in and support from key stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders, prioritise and deliver against deadlines in an agile/design thinking environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and a demonstrated capacity to work independently within established guidelines, using sound judgement.
