About the role
Mater’s Group Finance Team has an exciting opportunity for a Change and Communications Manager to join the team in this full time, maximum term 12-month contract based at Newstead.
The Change and Communications Manager will lead enterprise-wide change across Mater Health's Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions during the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the role will shape the change and communications vision, identify risks and opportunities and engage stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities include strategising, planning, and executing change management and communications activities to ensure business readiness and sustained adoption of new processes and systems.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
This role is crucial for fostering a positive change narrative and ensuring the long-term success of the transformation at Mater.
- Develop and implement enterprise-level change management strategy aligned with transformation objectives
- Conduct stakeholder assessments to identify change risks and readiness needs
- Design and deploy change plans to support end-user engagement and process adoption
- Lead development of tailored communications strategy for diverse audiences
- Support executive leaders with messaging and presentation materials
- Collaborate with training teams to ensure learning interventions align with change plan
- Maintain change documentation, logs, and risk registers
- Apply continuous improvement to change and communications approaches based on feedback
About you
The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience in ERP transformations, particularly in Procure-to-Pay, possess strong leadership skills, and understand change dynamics in large, clinically focused environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Change Management, or related field, required
- Postgraduate qualifications in Organisational Change, Communications, or Project Management, preferred
- Change Management certification or equivalent experience in structured change programs is highly desired
- 5+ years' experience leading organisational change and communication initiatives in complex environments
- Proven experience supporting large-scale ERP or business transformation programs
- Understanding of contemporary change practices and agile delivery models is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to distill complex concepts clearly
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders and managing multiple priorities
