About the role
Mater’s Procurement and Supply Chain Operations team is seeking a motivated Storesperson / Imprest Officer to join us on a full-time, maximum term contract (8 months) based at our South Brisbane campus.
This is an excellent opportunity to play an important role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods, stock, and supplies that directly support the delivery of healthcare services across Mater.
Salary range: $31.24 - $35.66 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As a Storesperson / Imprest Officer, you will support the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods across Mater’s network. You will manage stock levels through imprest systems, ensuring timely replenishment and strong attention to detail in stock control.
You’ll also work collaboratively with the Supply Chain Operations team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, improve processes, and deliver outstanding customer service.
About you
You are an organised and proactive team player with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in warehousing and inventory operations (healthcare setting desirable)
- Experience using inventory management systems, including imprest management
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Certificate II in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing and Storage), or equivalent (desirable)
