Mater has an exciting opportunity for a Warehousing Analyst to join our Group Finance team, based at Mater’s Newstead Campus on a full-time, 9-month maximum-term contract.
This role plays a key part in Mater’s transformation program, supporting the delivery of modernised warehousing and supply chain processes through the implementation of Advanced Warehouse Management (AWM) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) within the ERP system (D365).
It’s an excellent opportunity to contribute to operational excellence and improved visibility across Mater’s hospital and distribution networks.
Salary range: $54.57 - $59.38 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
You’ll support the design, documentation, and optimisation of warehouse and inventory workflows to enhance efficiency and traceability across Mater sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mapping and analysing current warehouse operations to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities
- Supporting the design and rollout of AWM and MRP functionality within D365 to enable scanning, directed put-away, and replenishment workflows
- Partnering with Group Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to ensure system configurations reflect operational needs
- Contributing to documentation, governance, training, and reporting activities to embed standardised warehouse practices
About you
You’re a process-driven, analytical professional who enjoys bridging operational processes with system capability. You’ll bring a keen eye for detail and a collaborative approach to continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will have:
- 2–4 years’ experience in a warehouse, supply chain, or business analyst role
- Exposure to ERP or WMS implementation projects (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle)
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, BPMN) and Excel
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and replenishment planning
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or Information Systems
- Experience with AWM or MRP functionality in an ERP environment
- Familiarity with mobile scanning or warehouse automation systems
