Are you a dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) ready to make a lasting impact? Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton are currently seeking passionate and experienced RNs to join high-performing teams across a variety of specialised units on a permanent part-time basis. These roles will start in January 2026.

Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has been supporting the health of people living in Central Queensland for more than a century. Our heritage listed Kenmore building was purchased by the Sisters of Mercy in 1915 and opened as the first Mater Misericordiae Hospital north of Brisbane on 14 November in the same year.
Salary range: $41.73 - $53.53 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As a Registered Nurse you will work to support the needs of staff within many clinical areas of Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton. You will need to hold a diverse range of experience and skills along with strong patient-centric care approach.
About you
- Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Considerable demonstrated experience the area in which you are applying for
- High level skills in problem-solving, communication, coordination and time management
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
- The ability to contribute effectively and efficiently within a busy, multidisciplinary team environment
