About the role
Mater Hospital Brisbane is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Administration Officer to join the team on a part-time basis, 24 hours per week. This role is a maximum term 3-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with Mater's Ambulatory Services Administration team, dedicated to the provision of exceptional care and service delivery.
Salary range: $39.79 - $44.25 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
This position is a front of house role which is involved in but not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Providing administrative support to the clinical and medical staff
- Maintain a high level or discretion and confidentially, complying with policy and procedure.
- Maintaining accurate, current data
- Demonstrate high level of both written and verbal communication
- Flexibility to be able support other team members.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Highly desirable: high level/strong experience using iPM (Patient Administration System)
- High level computer skills (including Microsoft Office, Outlook & Excel)
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to multi task and manage conflicting priorities from multiple stakeholders
- Experience with teleconference equipment & facilities
