About the role
Mater Research are looking for a Clinical Trial Coordinator – Oncology to join the Clinical Trial Research team! This full-time permanent role will be based at our South Brisbane campus.
This exciting opportunity allows you to assist in the day-to-day management of clinical trials, acting as a senior trial coordinator and potentially leading your own research projects. This role is vital to the successful conduct of clinical trials at Mater Research.

Salary range: $51.46 - $61.02 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As a Clinical Trial Coordinator, you will play a key role in project planning, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities include recruiting and coordinating research participants, overseeing administrative tasks, and maintaining records in compliance with standards. You will work closely with the Lead Clinical Trial Coordinator and contribute to the success of clinical trials at Mater Research.

Postgraduate qualifications (Graduate Certificate or Diploma) with at least two years of relevant research experience, OR
Undergraduate qualifications with extensive (>3 years) research experience, OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience.
GCP Certification
AHPRA registration
Hold current competency in Anti-cancer Drug Administration Course (ADAC), enabling safe administration of chemotherapy
Strong leadership and supervisory skills in a clinical research environment.
In-depth knowledge of research protocols, ethics, governance, and regulatory frameworks (GCP, TGA requirements).
Ability to independently manage all aspects of clinical trials with minimal oversight.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including negotiation and external representation.
Experience in developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives in research.
