About the role

Mater’s DTI team are looking for a Senior Digital Infrastructure Lead to join our team on a permanent, full-time role based at Newstead.

The Senior Digital Infrastructure Lead is a vital member of our team, responsible for providing expert advice and support for the IT infrastructure utilised throughout Mater Group. This role ensures the smooth maintenance, support, problem-solving and continuous improvement of our infrastructure, all while prioritising the needs of our customers.

Salary range: $70.32 - $75.47 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

As a leader in the infrastructure area, you will mentor team members, oversee the operation of complex enterprise infrastructure, and collaborate with other business areas to provide comprehensive solutions. The duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of Mater’s SOE, device configuration, and the EUC technology stack using SCCM/ConfigMgr, AppV deployments, Intune, ZENworks Desktop and Microsoft 365 core services.
  • Provide authoritative guidance on EUC architecture and design decisions aligned to Mater’s Digital Strategy and target-state architecture, including patterns that integrate with M365 workloads
  • Manages small to medium projects for system upgrades, configuration, integration, and efficiency improvements
  • Operate with significant autonomy, undertaking complex diagnostics and resolving high-impact issues, driving platform stability and user experience.
  • Determines and prioritises configuration changes in collaboration with users and stakeholders
  • Collaborates with teams to ensure smooth operation of IT Infrastructure services
  • Oversees user acceptance testing and develops infrastructure requirements
  • Manages resources efficiently and handles conflicting deadlines
  • Communicates complex technical terms in a non-technical manner
  • Reviews and develops IT infrastructure management documentation and processes
  • Designs technical infrastructure solutions for technology strategies and deployments

About you

  • Tertiary degree in subject matter expertise or Information Technology
  • Education or training in IT and industry certifications
  • ITIL Foundation certification (or commitment to obtain within 6 months)
  • Postgraduate qualifications in business management, information technology, leadership, or similar field desirable
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in delivering and supporting enterprise EUC/Modern Workplace environments at scale, including SOE, Intune/ConfigMgr and M365 administration.
  • Proven experience leading application packaging functions and practices.
  • Relevant Citrix certification/experience diserable
  • Experience with data protection, compliance, and records management in M365 (e.g., Purview) desirable
