Mater is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Coder to join our Clinical Coding Services team on a permanent , full-time or part time basis . This role will code across all Maters locations and is based at Mater’s South Brisbane Campus.

You will have the chance to participate in clinical coding across a wide variety of specialties, for both public and private patients. The Clinical Coding Service seeks to enable the best possible outcomes for Mater patients and clinicians by employing health information management best practice to facilitate quality health information.
This role may code across all Maters with a strong focus on Mater Hospital Springfield and is based at South Brisbane Campus. The role will involve:
The successful candidate will have a HIMAA Introductory/Intermediate Clinical Coding Course/Certificate 1V in Clinical Classification (or equivalent). They will also have:
