About the role

Mater is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Website to lead the delivery of a high-visibility digital transformation project until June 2027.

Mater is rebuilding its digital front door, replacing a legacy website platform with a modern, scalable and user-centred digital experience. This role will be responsible for leading the project end-to-end, ensuring delivery is well planned, well governed and aligned to Mater’s strategic, brand and operational priorities.

Salary range: $124,394 - $133,248 per annum plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  +access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Director, Communications Projects, the Project Manager, Website will provide strong oversight of scope, schedule, budget, risk and delivery outcomes.

This is a hands-on project management role requiring structure, collaboration, sound judgement and the ability to maintain momentum across a complex stakeholder environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of the website program, from discovery through to launch
  • Managing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks and issues
  • Coordinating input across Corporate Affairs, Digital, IT and business stakeholders
  • Managing external vendors, agencies and delivery partners
  • Maintaining project plans, documentation, reporting and governance materials
  • Supporting timely decision-making and effective stakeholder engagement
  • Ensuring the website meets user needs, accessibility standards, privacy obligations and Mater brand requirements
  • Managing budgets, forecasts and procurement activity in line with approved funding

About you

You will be a confident and organised project professional with experience delivering website, digital or technology-enabled transformation projects.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end website or digital projects
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
  • Sound understanding of digital delivery, CMS platforms and web development lifecycles
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
  • Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, digital, IT, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
