Mater is currently seeking applications for Assistants in Nursing to join our Central Nursing Office (CNO) on a casual basis.
AINs who work in our CNO will work across varying shifts in the Hospital as advised, across a 24/7 period.
Salary range: $32.55 - $35.99 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
About you
To be considered suitable for the AIN Casual talent community you will be:
- A current Bachelor of Nursing student (completed first clinical placement) OR have a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
- Flexibility to perform in various wards (public and private), adaptability to seamlessly integrate into different teams and work under different NUMs
- Consistent availability to complete shifts at short notice
- Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
- Prior comparable experience as an Assistant in Nursing or Personal Care Attendant/Assistant (Desirable)
- Working towards the attainment of a Registered Nurse, Midwife or Enrolled Nurse qualification and in the second or final year of studies
