Position:                               Registered Nurse – Student midwife

Status:                                  Full time or Part Time available

Duration:                             12 months – for duration of training, with option to remain on staff as RN/RM  

Salary:                                 $41.47 - $53.30 (RN1) plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

 

Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton invites Registered Nurses to apply for a scholarship to complete a Midwifery degree (Post Grad) at the University of the Sunshine Coast over a 12 month period.

This will be whilst working either full-time or part-time on the Womens Unit at Rockhampton Mater Hospital.

About the Role:

The Midwife position provides family-centred midwifery care in collaboration with other health professionals and significant other to ensure safe, efficient and effective management of the patient within the Women’s Unit.

 

Candidates must have:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse is essential.
