About the role
Mater Health Services has a great opportunity for a Guest Services Assistant to join our Hotel Services team. This is a casual role based in Mater’s South Brisbane Campus.
The positions will work to a rotating roster across 7 days of the week, with shifts rostered to meet the operational requirements of the department.
Salary range: $30.48 - $33.05 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Perform tasks as scheduled in various areas of the hospital and provides support within the Guest Service team to ensure a safe, efficient cleaning and guest service to Mater Patients.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Functions as part of a team that ensures delivery of guest service activities to Mater Health Services is completed within required time frames and at the highest standard
- Understand and works towards achieving all guest service related key performance indicators across all Mater facilities
- Strives to maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanour at all time while on duty to support our patients
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, guidelines and work instructions relevant to guest services
- Adheres to strict cleaning guidelines at all times
- Adhere to all health, hygiene and safety guidelines and report any health and safety risks (including near misses) and equipment failures in a timely manner to your Supervisor
- Complete 3 stage Deprox clean using appropriate Deprox machinery in a safe manner in line with guest services guidelines
- Respect guests rights and the confidentiality of all matters relating to guests, patients, their families and other staff
- Identify and log maintenance items as required
