Our Administration Services Team at Mater is committed to delivering exceptional care and service to our patients. We have three distinct teams within Mater Administration, each offering a range of roles. These teams include:
- Customer Service Team
- Reception for outpatient clinics
- Call Centre / Teleservices
- Roster Management
- Business Support Officer (BSO)
- Admissions & Inpatients
- Reception for admissions to the hospital
- Ward Clerks
- Emergency
- Patient Contacting
- Appointment Management
- Referral Management
- Bookings Office
Both Administration Officer and Senior Administration Officer positions are available within each of these teams.
To be considered for the Administration Talent Community, you should meet the following criteria:
- Experience in providing administration support (preferably in a medical setting)
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer skills and data entry, including Microsoft Office Suite and Patient Administration systems (or the ability to quickly adapt to new systems)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Dedication to the Mater Mission and Values

Salary ranges for Administration Officer and Senior Administration Officer positions are as follows:
- Administration Officer: $31.24 − $36.44 (Mater Corporate and Admin Services Level 2) per hour, plus superannuation and salary packaging
- Senior Administration Officer: $38.81 − $43.16 (Mater Corporate and Admin Services Level 3) per hour, plus superannuation and salary packaging
