About the role
Mater Private Hospital Townsville has an exciting opportunity for a Dietitian to join the Allied Health team. The successful applicant will join the team on a casual basis were you will work out of our Pimlico and Hyde Park campus.

Salary range: $41.87 - $57.80 per hour plus 25% casual loading plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, which will rotate through a range of clinical areas, whilst contributing to quality improvement initiatives and best practice models of dietetic care.  Clinical responsibilities may include the provision of nutrition care to adults across a range of clinical areas, including both inpatients and outpatients. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to participate in professional mentoring.

About you
The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Nutrition and Dietetics service in a hospital setting and the ability to manage caseloads across a broad range of clinical areas
• Commitment to continuous quality improvement, evidence based practice and professional development
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) and time management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively within the Nutrition and Dietetics Department and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Minimum of one-year full time equivalent clinical experience- recommended
• Accredited Practising Dietitian status
