About the role
Mater Group are seeking a skilled Analyst in a full time, 12-month contract with potential for extension up to 18-months based at Newstead.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality, consistency and integrity of data throughout our transformation process. As the champion of data cleansing, validation, and standardisation across multiple departments, including Health, finance, procurement, and supply chain, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, igniting collaboration with finance, procurement, logistics, and IT experts.

Salary range: $105,567 - $114,860 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Conduct data analysis and develop reporting tools to assess warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and operational efficiency
  • Identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes and collaborate with managers and cross-functional teams to implement changes to optimize workflows and reduce costs
  • Support the implementation of new warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to enhance productivity and accuracy
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills to address complex warehouse challenges
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
  • Possess a proactive mindset, taking initiative to identify and implement innovative solutions

About you

As an experienced Analyst, you have a strong desire to excel in your field and possess a deep understanding of finance, supply chain, and data management.

  • 2-4 years of experience in an analytical role within procurement, finance, or supply chain functions, essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field is highly desirable
  • 2-4 years of experience in a data cleansing or data management role, ideally within finance or supply chain functions
  • Experience supporting transformation or system implementation projects, highly desirable
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data management software
  • Advantageous to have experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle and familiarity with data cleansing tools
  • Understanding of data governance principles, master data management, and data quality frameworks
