About the role

Join Mater’s Education team in this casual Associate Program Facilitator role and deliver the High Value Conversations (HVC) Program across Queensland.

Collaborate with the Manager Programs & Partnerships and Lead Facilitator to teach innovative learning programs to external stakeholders. Utilise your inspiring facilitation skills to drive positive change within organisations.

Salary: $44.09 - $51.44 (including casual loading) plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver HVC Program Foundation sessions and facilitate small group discussions for external stakeholders
  • Utilise contemporary teaching methodologies for program excellence
  • Apply engaging facilitation approaches for diverse participants from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds
  • Focus on self-capability development, building technical competencies and accountability
  • Utilise and distribute resources for continuous professional development within the team
  • Regularly assess program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative measures
  • Collaborate with the Lead Facilitator to make relevant content and program delivery changes based on feedback, research, and organisational needs
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to peers and colleagues
  • Foster a psychologically safe environment for communication and feedback within the team
  • Travel within Queensland and interstate, including overnight stays, may be required

About you

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in corporate learning program facilitation
  • Bachelor or other relevant tertiary qualifications in fields such as adult education, psychology, learning and development, Human Resource Management, business, or equivalent (desired)
  • Experience in education program facilitation within the Australian healthcare context is (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desired)
  • Experience delivering face-to-face adult learning program facilitation to small-medium size groups
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
  • Adaptability to changing demands and comfortable in a dynamic and evolving organisation
