About the role
The Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Administration Officer to join their team working in our Allied Health, Emotional Health and CVI Administration Team on a casual basis (hours of operation are business hours only Monday-Friday).
Salary range: $31.24 - $36.44 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
- Providing Exceptional Customer Service to patients and clients
- Booking and managing outpatient appointments in TAHDIS (Team Allied Health Data Information System)
- Register and update patient details in iPM
- Invoice/receipt patients in Totalcare and using HICAPS.
- Manage phone calls from patients and clinical staff taking a variety of enquiries
- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, complying with administration, and financial policy and procedures. Maintaining accurate, current and accessible files
- Provide administrative assistance to senior admin staff and others as requested
About you
To be successful in this role you will meet the following in the following:
- Must be able to work autonomously as well a team
- Ability to learn and retain a lot of information quickly (this position will be working across all receptions listed above)
- Must be flexible and adaptable
- High level of customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced, demanding environment
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills
- Strong computer skills including competence in Administration systems (and the ability to quickly learn new systems)
- Ability to use programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
