About the role
The Mater Pharmacy Administration Support Team has a new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a maximum term basis until February 2026. This is a part-time role, working 4 days a week (Tuesday to Friday).
Salary range: $31.24 - $36.44 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As an Administration Officer – Accounts Payable, your role will involve but is not limited to:
- Processing pharmaceutical invoices ensuring the totals receipted match the invoice total
- Liaise with Group Finance and pharmacy suppliers, ensuring timely process of and payment of invoices
- Produce monthly reports for outstanding invoice amounts and follow up suppliers for relevant invoices and/or credits
- Provide back up support to the Senior Administration Officer when required to facilitate in the efficient operation of the pharmacy office.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience with accounting or bookkeeping
- Previous relevant work experience or a willingness to learn
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills
- Ability to use computer-based inventory management systems (or the ability to quickly learn new systems)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced, demanding environment
- Advanced IT skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- A positive attitude and approach to work with a commitment to excellent service and accuracy
- Certificate II or III in Hospital/Community Pharmacy (or equivalent) – desirable
