About the role

Mater Private Hospital Brisbane is seeking experienced Senior Administration Officers to join our admissions team. You’ll support a variety of Patient Admission and Contacting areas, including Endoscopy Welcome Lounge/Front Reception.

This is a permanent part-time role (28 hours per week), working on a 24/7 roster (including public holidays).

Salary range: $38.81 - $43.16 per hour plus 12% superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  +access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Administration Officer, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
  • Process admissions, transfers, discharges, and clinical documentation
  • Provide timely administrative support to clinical staff
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Manage accurate records and prepare routine correspondence
  • Assist senior staff with administrative tasks as required
  • Use initiative and judgement to solve problems in dynamic situations

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience in medical administration
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in patient administration systems (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Knowledge of Health Funds
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • The ability to prioritise and work effectively in a busy environment
