About the role
Mater Private Hospital Brisbane is seeking experienced Senior Administration Officers to join our admissions team. You’ll support a variety of Patient Admission and Contacting areas, including Endoscopy Welcome Lounge/Front Reception.
This is a permanent part-time role (28 hours per week), working on a 24/7 roster (including public holidays).
Salary range: $38.81 - $43.16 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Administration Officer, you will:
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
Process admissions, transfers, discharges, and clinical documentation
Provide timely administrative support to clinical staff
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with policies and procedures
Manage accurate records and prepare routine correspondence
Assist senior staff with administrative tasks as required
Use initiative and judgement to solve problems in dynamic situations
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
Demonstrated experience in medical administration
Strong organisational and time management skills
Proficiency in patient administration systems (or ability to learn quickly)
Knowledge of Health Funds
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
The ability to prioritise and work effectively in a busy environment
