About the role
The Mater Mothers’ Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their team on a 12-month maximum-term, full-time opportunity, 38 hours per week.
Salary range: $39.79 - $44.25 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
Key Responsibilities may include:
Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to Managers and Directors, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence. Assist other areas of the hospital administration team as required.
Workforce Support : Assist with workforce management tasks such as rostering, recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
Data Management : Maintain accurate records and databases related to workforce and departmental activities.
Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports on workforce metrics and departmental performance.
Event Coordination : Organize and coordinate events, meetings, and training sessions.
Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for staff and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
Project Assistance : Provide admin support to Managers and Directors in the planning and execution of departmental projects.
Compliance : Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role you will meet the following in the following:
Maintain a high level of confidentially of both personal and financials within the business
Maintains up to date knowledge on procedures and policies of the work area/s
Ensure effective, accurate and timely communication with staff and clients, communicating with professionalism, sensitivity and discretion
Ensure accurate data entry using appropriate electronic systems
Exercise judgement and initiative within define procedures, precedents, guidelines and instructions
Maintain a safe working environment complying with Workplace Health and Safety and anti-discrimination policies
Support and assist other team members within the business as required
Comply with and adhere to Mater Health Services and the private practice policies, procedures, standards and legislation relevant to the role and business unit
