Mater Human Resources is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team until 30 June 2026. This role is based at our Newstead campus, with the requirement to be onsite at South Brisbane on a regular basis.
Salary range: $108,107 (MCA5.1) per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Lead and execute full-cycle recruitment for a diverse range of roles, meeting deadlines and business needs
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Manager to deliver statewide recruitment initiatives and workforce planning
Develop and maintain talent pools and pipelines to proactively address skills shortages
Implement innovative sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing and leveraging social platforms
Manage recruitment campaigns and candidate engagement to enhance Mater’s employer brand
Train and support hiring managers and stakeholders on recruitment best practices and tools
Participate in recruitment system implementation and provide ongoing user support
Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant legislation throughout recruitment processes
Provide market intelligence and collaborate with internal teams to optimise recruitment operations
Use data-driven insights to improve recruitment outcomes and reporting
About you
You will have proven end to end Recruitment experience within large and complex businesses.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in full lifecycle recruitment with a proven track record of success (ideally in healthcare)
Expertise in proactive sourcing, including non-traditional methods and social platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter
Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills at all organisational levels
Experience working with recruitment systems, with PageUp experience highly regarded
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Creative thinker with a flair for innovation and continuous improvement
Ability to coach and guide hiring managers and colleagues on recruitment best practices
