About the role

Mater Private Hospital Springfield is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Outpatients Department on a part-time (0.8 FTE), permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care within a modern, purpose-built facility, providing clinical support to Specialist Consultants in an outpatient setting. You’ll be part of a collaborative, values-driven team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

The department provides a variety of outpatient services, including clinics and pre-admission health screening, to support optimal health outcomes. Staff are committed to the Mater mission and values—offering compassionate care, respecting privacy, responding flexibly to patients’ individual needs, and fostering a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Salary range: $35.93 - $38.21 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll contribute to the delivery of safe, evidence-based nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses. You will:

  • Provide clinical support to Specialist Consultants during outpatient appointments and minor procedures
  • Deliver patient education and wound management within scope of practice
  • Assist with minor gynaecology procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Manage equipment and stock to maintain smooth day-to-day operations
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team of on- and off-site Registered Nurses

About you

You’re a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse with a commitment to excellence in patient care and a proactive approach to teamwork and continuous learning. You’ll also have:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated clinical skills within an outpatient, procedural or acute care setting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • A patient-centred approach and dedication to upholding Mater’s Mission and Values
