Join Mater Foundation as a Campaign Operations Manager in Newstead! This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to lead the planning and delivery of our major fundraising campaigns and events. Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

As the Campaign Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and delivering major events and supporter led activations. You’ll work across profile campaigns like the Smiddy Challenge, Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer and International Women’s Day Fun Run – all while contributing to better health outcomes for Queenslanders. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure every detail is delivered with excellence — from logistics and budgeting to stakeholder engagement and onsite leadership. Your work will help create safe, seamless, and memorable experiences for participants, volunteers, and sponsors, while supporting Mater Foundation’s fundraising and community engagement goals.

About you
To be successful within this role you will need:

  • Proven experience in event coordination and management, preferably in sport, fundraising or community sectors
  • Strong project management skills using online platforms like Monday.com
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of risk management and compliance in event delivery
  • Tertiary qualification in Event Management or related field (desirable)
