Project Manager - UKG

Mater Group is in the early stages of planning for our UKG Pro implementation and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join us for 18 months to lead the project. We are seeking an expression of interest for those who may interested in this role based at our Newstead Offices.

What you’ll be doing

As the UKG Pro Project Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end implementation of UKG Pro. You’ll serve as the bridge between internal stakeholders, technical teams, and our external consultants to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.  More specifically you will: 

  • Lead full cycle UKG Pro implementation projects, including planning, execution, go live, and post launch support.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with HR, IT, Payroll, and Finance teams to gather requirements and align on project goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with UKG support and consultants.
  • Monitor and report on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and governance bodies.
  • Drive system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation, training, and knowledge transfer post-implementation. 

About you

You must have extensive proven experience leading the end to end migration from Kronos WFC to UKG Pro within a Hospital group. In addition:

  • Strong understanding of Project lifecycle
  • Extensive understanding of the complexities of payroll within hospitals and how this translates to a time and attendance system
  • Experience with data migration including employee records, timekeeping and Payroll
  • Proven understanding of operational requirements of a Healthcare organisation
  • Ability to lead change management initiatives and user adoption strategies
  • Ability to identify risks and appropriate risk mitigation strategies
