About the role
Mater Education is seeking a dedicated Program Support Officer to join Mater Education at our South Brisbane locations. This full-time, permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential administrative support within dynamic education programs, helping to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for both staff and students. Salary range: $39.79 to $44.25 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
You will manage key administrative tasks to support program delivery, including student record maintenance, coordinating student placements, and facilitating communication between students, staff, and external agencies. You will also oversee resource and IT equipment management, assist with event logistics, and provide friendly, accurate information to students to enhance their engagement and success. Working closely with the Senior Manager, you will contribute to initiatives that support student well-being and program quality.
About you
To be considered for this position you should have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in program support or administrative roles, ideally within an RTO environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and student/learning management systems (aXcelerate & VLE).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative team approach
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and work well under pressure
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and compliance
