About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Administration Officer to join the Mater Health Service on a casual basis .
The purpose of this position is to provide operational support to the Principal Project Officer and the Data Quality and Reporting Team by improving the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across systems.
Salary range: $32.02 - $37.35 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
In this position you will be responsible for the following:
Enter and maintain data in the Patient Administration System (PAS)- iPM in a timely and accurate manner
Support the cleaning and validating datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
Support the identification of missing, incomplete, or incorrect records and update them in PAS (iPM)
Support data quality audits, reviews, and reporting activities
Work closely with project and reporting staff to resolve data issues and document fixes
About you
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
Demonstrated recent experience in a similar position (hospital or health setting highly advantageous)
To be available to work shift work including overnights, weekends and public holidays in accordance with the roster
Proficient typing skills and ability to utilise multiple computer systems
Personal attributes
A positive attitude and approach to work
A commitment to excellent service and accuracy
Mature, well presented, responsible and approachable
Demonstrated reliability, integrity and confidentiality
Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development
