About the role
The Mater Mothers’ Hospital Administration Team has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their team.
This is a permanent, full time position, working 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
Salary range: $39.79 - $44.25 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to Managers and Directors, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence. Assist other areas of the hospital administration team as required
Workforce Support: Assist with admin tasks related to workforce management such as rostering, recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members
Data Management: Maintain accurate records and databases related to workforce and departmental activities
Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports on workforce metrics and departmental performance
Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate events, meetings, and training sessions
Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for staff and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed
Project Assistance: admin support to Managers and Directors in the planning and execution of departmental projects
Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
About you
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Professional demeanour and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
