About the role
Mater Hospital Brisbane is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Central Nursing Office (CNO) on a permanent part-time and full-time basis. These positions are located at the South Brisbane campus.
The suitable candidates will be required to work varying shifts in the hospital, across a 24/7 period. Full availability (AM, PM and Night Duty) across seven days is required to be considered for this position.
Salary range: $41.73 - $53.53 plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in line with unit and organisational standards
- Contribute to optimal patient outcomes across the full patient journey and continuum of care
- Apply sound clinical judgement and expertise in the assessment, planning and management of patient care
- Support quality improvement and risk management initiatives to ensure safe, effective service delivery
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate and patient-centred care
- Maintain and develop clinical knowledge and skills to support ongoing professional growth
About you
To be considered, you will demonstrate:
- Current AHPRA registration, without restrictions
- Minimum 12 months’ post-graduate nursing experience
- Flexibility to work across a variety of wards and clinical areas
- Ability to adapt quickly and integrate seamlessly into different teams and leadership structures
- Availability to accept shifts at short notice
- Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and ongoing professional development
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Sound computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
