About the role
Mater Foundation are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, highly organised professional to join our dynamic Philanthropy team on a 12‑month maternity leave contract!
As our Philanthropy Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of a passionate, purpose-driven team—supporting Senior Managers to deliver high-impact strategies and campaigns across Major Gifts, Gifts in Wills, and Trusts & Foundations. It meets a profoundly satisfying mission to improve the health and wellbeing of our community and to continue the Mater tradition of care and compassion.
Mater Foundation helps to underpin an extensive network of hospitals across Queensland, a world-class research institute and a nationally accredited education provider.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing

If you love variety, thrive in a collaborative environment, and find purpose in work that creates meaningful community impact, you’ll feel right at home here.
This is your chance to grow your skills, deepen your experience in philanthropy, and contribute to the work of one of Australia’s most impactful hospital foundations.

- Reliability, responsiveness, and a solutions-focused attitude
