About the role
Mater Hospital Brisbane has multiple roles available within Administration Services for Reception and Mater Cancer Care Centre (MCCC). We are seeking proactive and customer-focused Administration Officers to join the team due to internal movements. We currently have the below vacancies available:
Administration Officer, MCCC – Casual
Administration Officer, Reception – 6-month maximum term contract full time 38 hours per week
Administration Officer, Reception – permanent full time 38 hours per week
Salary range: $32.02 - $37.35 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Providing exceptional customer service
Providing administrative support to the clinical and medical staff
Maintain a high level or discretion and confidentially, complying with policy and procedure
Maintaining accurate, current data
Demonstrate high level of both written and verbal communication
Flexibility to be able support other team members
About you
Highly desirable: high level/strong experience using iPM (Patient Administration System)
High level computer skills (including Microsoft Office, Outlook & Excel)
Highly developed time management and organisational skills
The ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team
Demonstrated ability to multi task and manage conflicting priorities from multiple stakeholders
Experience with teleconference equipment & facilities
