About the role
Mater Research is looking for a Research Officer – Queensland eConsultant to join the team! This full time (part-time considered), maximum term (12 months) role will be based at South Brisbane.
This position is to manage internal and external stakeholder engagement, training and communications, provide data management and analysis, support Human Research Ethics applications and preparation of progress reports and data compliance for the QeC studies. This role will be responsible for specialist and general practice recruitment working together with staff to implement eConsultant.

Salary range: $26.82 - $28.01 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for providing data management and analysis, support request for advice system redesign, onboarding of practices and specialists, records management, practice support, support for Human Research Ethics applications, preparation of funding submissions, and progress reports. Responsibilities of the role include:
Assist in the development of milestone reports.
Preparation of research performance reports.
Preparation of project progress reports for funding bodies.
Provide research co-ordination including monitoring of project timelines.
Maintain a constructive relationship with partner organisations including PHNs and GP practices.
Present updates, overviews and findings internally.
Support senior staff in the CHSRI to undertake quantitative and qualitative research and preparation of manuscripts for publication.
About you
You will bring:
A bachelor’s degree, postgraduate qualification desirable, in science related discipline, health service-related field or epidemiology/public health, or equivalent relevant workplace experience.
Demonstrated research skills and knowledge in data management and analysis. Knowledge of HReC process is desirable.
Proficient in program management and planning, people management, research, staff training, problem solving and decision-making skills.
An understanding of Mater Systems, such as iPM and Verdi, and data management using Power BI and MS Excel will be viewed favourably.
Demonstrated experience in general practice engagement will be viewed favourably.
Knowledge of data security measures and compliance with healthcare regulations to ensure patient data confidentiality and integrity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Personal attributes of integrity, tact, sound judgement and respect for confidentiality.
Knowledge of data linkage desirable.
